Post Movement Code
Hey Ignorance,

I'm just browsing through the unreal collision stuff. Seems the Bump event work for movement?

What system does that sphere thing in your video use?

Post Re: Movement Code
The sphere thing uses true physics and is a rigid body. Unfortunately bump won't work because pawn collisions are simplified to a cube when checking for world collisions(hence dead stops in T:A). To get around this deeply embedded physics simplification, a rigid body has to be used.

By setting up a rigid body with a simplified sphere collision shape, dead stops cease to be an issue(a perfect sphere has no edges that can be caught on odd polys).
