hi ,

in the future we will need music without license , which format will be able to ( like .mp3 or .org ) ?

As far as I know, both mp3 and ogg have free (as in speech) decoding libraries, which might remove the patent licensing liability from Project Free Fall, but ogg would definitely have no patent issues to worry about. Given that Project Free Fall is already licensing Unreal Engine, I guess that's really up to 1gnorance and his lawyer to decide.

Wouldn't worry too much about formats. Whatever is decided on will be easy to convert to. For now I suggest a lossless format(wav, FLAC, fuck ALAC though).

Leaning towards FLAC though, it's free and shouldn't be hard to add to the engine.
